Hi Y'all! My name is Kayla! I am so happy you are here! I am the owner, chief decorating officer, and head baker of Southern Soirée out of Charleston, SC.

It's been ten years since I rolled out my first batch of cookie dough, helping my mom with her cookie business, with no intention of ever turning it into my own business one day. After helping her for years, it truly became a hobby. I would make sugar cookies for special events or holidays to give to our friends and family to enjoy. Soon enough, my family and friends began requesting them at every gathering. I heard, "Your cookies are too cute to eat!"

I firmly believe that cookies should look as good as they taste. Cupcakes, cakes, and various mini desserts quickly joined sugar cookies as my passion for baking and entertaining grew. However, that was only some of what developed. As a recent bride and a bridesmaid in multiple weddings, helping friends throw baby showers and bridal showers, and loving any reason to throw a party, I discovered my passion for party planning and throwing over-the-top events.

My heart lies in bringing people together and celebrating their special moments and milestones. I have combined my love of creativity and attention to detail to create the perfect party, which includes the perfect cookies or desserts!

And just like that, Southern Soirée began! Every detail is essential; from start to finish, we will ensure your day is perfect. It brings me so much happiness to be a part of someone's special day and make it even more special and memorable with all our fantastic services!
